Aesthetics
Aesthetic dentistry covers:
High quality tooth color matching ceramic fillings (on the spot filling during one session) only when minor defects.
Ceramic inlays when extensive defects especially in the area of back teeth: In a first session an existing and defect filling (e.g. amalgam) will be removed and the carious and contracted substance eliminated, followed by an elastic impression to fabricate a temporary denture. The dental lab will then prepare the final ceramic inlay which in a second session will be cemented in a complex procedure onto the tooth to achieve a seamless area between tooth substance and inlay. In most cases such ceramic inlays are barely visible, well tolerated, robust and long-lasting.
High quality prosthodontics, coronas, bridges and even implants are optional available as solid, metal-free ceramics.
Veneers
Veneers are mostly used in the area of incisors. Defect positions can be corrected as well as tooth gaps closed, also staining can be covered up and broken off edges reconstructed.
